PNC Financial Services posted a 2.7 percent rise in quarterly profit on Friday as the U.S. regional bank earned more interest income.
The bank’s net income attributable to common shareholders rose to $1.20 billion, or $2.61 per share, in the first quarter ended March 31, from $1.17 billion, or $2.43 per share, a year earlier.
